I have been a consulting health actuary for over 30 years. I am passionate about improving our health care system, making care more affordable, and achieving better outcomes. I believe that actuaries can be a key component to this improvement due to their understanding of the data and the interaction of cost and utilization. I have also held leadership positions in the Society of Actuaries and believe giving back to the profession is important.
My work includes provider contracting, Medicaid, commercial pricing, risk arrangements, ROI and effectiveness studies, and benchmarking.
