Bill Tai has been funding startups as a VC since 1991 and has had 23 of his seed or early stage projects grow to become publicly listed companies. In the longevity segment he is a seed backer of Algen Bio, Color Genomics, and Dyad AI. He is among the first investors in household names Canva and Zoom. He has operational experience as founding board chairman of HUT8 Corp (NASDAQ HUT) , Treasure Data (acquired by SOFTBANK) , IPInfusion (listed on the Tokyo Exchange) and iAsiaWorks (IPO via Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley).
