Anthony Gerardi is a healthcare executive with a proven track record developing and deploying innovation strategies to create new businesses, products, and solutions to drive organic growth and to fuel acquisitions, partnerships and strategic investments. He has experience growing healthcare technology businesses, healthcare services, other healthcare segments and other industries. He has worked globally with companies such Optum, Advisory Board, Thomson Reuters (Truven Health Analytics acquired by IBM), SKT Telecom, and GE to develop innovation strategies, new offerings, and customer experiences in healthcare and other markets. His private equity career started at GE, as an investor he has successfully accelerated the growth of portfolio companies. Private equity investments included Sequoia Software acquired by Citrix Systems, Insight Health, R2 acquired by Hologic and Bravo Health acquired by HealthSpring/Cigna.
Anthony has led colleagues and clients through the entire growth and innovation strategy process from research and ideation to implementation, including mergers and acquisitions and organic growth. This includes leading global teams to create innovation strategies and transform company cultures, developing new business models, brands, offerings, and customer experiences for public and private companies.
Anthony was CEO and founder of the Risk Adjustment business with the Advisory Board and COO of Enterprise Analytics and Advisory Board (acquired by Optum). Prior to Advisory and Optum, Anthony led the New Product Development, Mergers and Acquisitions and Partnership as Truven Health Analytics (acquired by IBM). Anthony was the practice leader for Doblin, a leading innovation strategy firm, during its accelerated growth and sale to Monitor. Prior to Doblin he co-led the innovation and strategic private equity group for MetLife, improving performance of business units through innovation strategies, external strategic investments, and partnerships. His private equity background includes leading investments for MetLife, Divine, and General Electric (GE) with over $100 million of investment experience.
Anthony has accumulated a strong track record in healthcare as a strategist and active investor, using innovation strategies and design methods to improve performance and financial results through organic growth, acquisitions, partnerships and strategic investments.
