Alex Fair, MS, is a healthcare innovation leader, venture capitalist, and serial entrepreneur dedicated to accelerating health-tech breakthroughs. As the Founder of MedStartr, a healthcare accelerator and crowd-validation platform and now marketplace of medical innovations, as well as Managing Partner of its venture arm, he empowers health-tech startups to secure funding, scale their solutions, and bring impactful products and treatments to market sustainably. A scientist and seasoned founder, Alex launched his first healthtech startup while pursuing a Ph.D. in Pathology. Following its acquisition, he went on to build multiple businesses, with MedStartr being his seventh venture. He’s also an accomplished event and community curator, having created the MedMo World Tour, and the Art of Empowerment Investor Series, hosting more than 1,279 events in 43 cities worldwide, fostering collaboration across the health-tech ecosystem. As a mentor, advisor, and Board Member he has guided over 180 startups and their founders, invested in dozens more, and continues to open doors through a global innovation network—all for teh goal of evolving healthcare faster.
